Analysis Types

This model produces the different types of analyses described below. A cover sheet is produced for all analyses to enhance the professional presentation and to save you time. You may design your own “Cover Sheet” using your logo and other contact information. All analyses present the consequences of the aircraft being sold in the year/s selected by the user.  All analyses have the capability to use a percentage of business usage that is deductible for tax purposes, so you can easily show a prospect an after tax cash flow for any percentage business usage. Various reports are produced that can be provided to a potential prospect or to the aircraft manager or commercial operator.

Business Ownership of a Whole Aircraft: Produces a three-page report that clearly presents all costs for a business purchasing a whole aircraft.

Individual Ownership of a Whole Aircraft: Produces a three-page report that clearly presents all costs for an individual purchasing a whole aircraft.

Ownership of a Whole Managed Aircraft: Produces a three-page report that clearly presents all costs assuming the aircraft is NOT used for revenue producing purposes but managed by a third party for a fee.

Ownership of a Whole Managed Leaseback Aircraft: Produces a three-page report that clearly presents all costs assuming the aircraft is totally managed by a third party, but also chartered or rented. This allows you to show a prospect the impact of placing an aircraft on a leaseback. In addition to producing your prospect’s cost analysis, it also produces a revenue analysis for the aircraft manager.

Commercial Charter Operation (Aircraft and Helicopters): Produces reports for operator-owned aircraft that are chartered. When the profit margins on various products and services are input by the operator, this analysis calculates a month-to-month cash flow showing the investment return and net present value on the cash flow. It also builds a pricing table showing how your investment return varies for different charter rates and utilizations. The model calculates the utilization hours required for you to breakeven at your current charter rate.

Joint Ownership (Business, Individual, Managed with or without Leaseback): Produces reports presenting joint ownership cost with too many options to discuss here. Generally, annual fixed costs are divided based upon the percentage of ownership and hourly operating costs are paid directly by the aircraft user. Revenue reports are also produced for the manager.

Fractional Ownership: Produces reports necessary to show the costs of a fractional ownership program. These include the percentage purchase of the aircraft and the payment of the monthly fractional fee for the percentage ownership as well as the hourly utilization charge when the customer uses the aircraft.

Charter Cost: Produces a before and after tax cash flow showing the cost of chartering a specific number of hours or miles per year.

Rental Cost: Produces a before and after tax cash flow showing the cost of renting a specific number of hours or miles per year.
